Curbside Process

General Safety Reminders

Do not use your cell phone while dropping off or picking up children.

Be patient and follow all protocols, including:

Do not bypass the line or leave your car unattended along the curb.
Drive slowly and stay alert at crosswalks where crossing guards are present.

Changes to Curbside Procedures

Effective October 21, 2024

DROP OFF

All cars must follow the one-way queue lane, looping around the light pole at the far end of the lot before entering the queue.
Two queue lanes:
- - 4th-8th grades: Drop-off begins at 8:00am
  - Y5-3rd grades: Drop-off begins at 8:15am
Morning care students (Y5-8th, arriving 7:30-8:00) should line up in the 4th-8th grade queue. Stop signs will indicate the intersection with oncoming one-way traffic into the lot, and cars will need to alternate as if at a two-way stop.
Between 8:00-8:30, a traffic guide will release cars one at a time for drop-off.
After drop-off, cars proceed slowly through the exit lane.

PICK UP

Follows the same process as drop-off. Please be sure your visor sign with your child’s name and grade is clearly displayed.
Y5 & K (2:45-3:00): Cars line up on the berm inside cones; children will be brought to the cars by staff. Students not picked up by 3:00 will head to After Care.
1st-3rd grades: Follow the queue lanes and wait to be directed to the curb. After 3:15, cars can use either lane. All students not picked up by 3:15 will head to After Care.
4th-8th grades: Follow the queue lanes based on grade level. After 3:15, cars can use either lane. All students not picked up by 3:30 will head to After Care.
